Rachel and Omar's Real Wedding makes the pages of Bride's Choice

I never get sick of looking at amazing wedding photos. It is hard to believe that it has been a year and a half since I worked on the amazing wedding of Rachel and Omar. Now, to my surprise here it is again in vivid color among the glossy pages of Bride's Choice Magazine. Rachel and Omar are just like a real life Princess Jasmine and Alladin. They could not be better looking. Certainlly their wedding day was one for the history books. Every time I see the Alex and Ani advertisements I think of Rachel, her aunt and her entire Persian Family. They run the now empire of bangles. Their style, their enegery that is within their jewelery is shown in this amazing wedding. Congratulations Rachel and Omar. I miss you guys, but love seeing you again in this magazine. Love always, CMP

CMP for Alex and Ani at Grace Ormonde's Grand Bridal Show

Grace Ormonde continues to be a force within the bridal world, essentially defining "wedding fashion". Along with her glossy, critically acclaimed bridal magazine she also hosts the grand bridal events around the country.  Each year hundreds of brides and their families will converge upon Rhodes on The Pawtuxet to meet with the creme de la creme of the industry.

I am honored and excited to be appearing as the spokesperson for the newest addition to the Alex and Ani family, the bridal collection. I have designed many pieces that are elegant, chic and will be modelled on the runway this Sunday at the show. I will be in my tux, trying to look handsome and of course I will have my camera and flip video to capture the beautiful action.

For more information on attending the bridal show please visit: www.thegrandbridalshow.com.

CMP for Alex and Ani Bridal

I have been hard at work over the past month with the incredible team at Alex and Ani jewelry. Their hip expandable line of jewelry is just so cool. Even cooler is the evolution to the world of bridal design here at my creative firm. It is wild for me to think about the jewelry design in this sketch, evolving and actually coming to life. This afternoon I get to review the final pieces and make any necessary adjustments to get the collection ready for this Thursday's party at the grand opening of Alex and Ani in Newport in Rhode Island. I am so loving chad michael peters for Alex and Ani Bridal.

Until then I thought that you would enjoy seeing my sketch of the Alex and Ani bride. She has evolved over the past month, but in the end she is stunning. I am squeeling for you to see this jewelry live. Please join me this Thursday in Newport Rhode Island for the grand opening of Alex and Ani.

Please call my office at 508.999.1120 for more details.

Chad Michael Peters for Alex and Ani Bridal

I had a meeting last week that brought yet another change, an evolution really into the ever changing world of fashion that I love so much. I started with the flowers and have moved to planning and designing most details to the beautiful weddings that I am lucky enough to work on. I have been craving to work in fashion and somehow translate it into what I am doing all ready.

With my meeting from the team of Alex and Ani , makers of some of the most incredible jewelry that I have seen in a long time. I knew right away that we had hit on something big. While I can't share all of the details I can let you know that we will be working with both of our labels on a national launch of the coolest, inspired jewelry and accessory line that the bridal market has seen since beaded headbands and puffed sleeve with lace and sequins were all the rage in the 1980's. Of course our looks will move far, far away from those disasters.

I love the idea of this partnership and the creative involvement that I will have with design and marketing and promotional involvement. Of course, my sketching has to play a role in this. I have been hard at work designing a custom look that was the very definition of Chad Michael Peters for Alex and Ani......what do you think ?

I look forward to being at Alex and Ani in Newport Rhode Island on the 17th of December for the grand opening celebration of their newest location there and toasting our new partnership in the fabulous world of weddings.

CMP Decks the Halls at Alex and Ani December 17th

I am a fashion designer, not the fashion that you wear(yet), but the fashion that you look at. Color combinations, textures, fabrics and finishes all play a huge roll in the world of design, whether it is for the home, a wedding or an incredible Christmas event. I see the same principles being applied regardless. I personally love mixing it up, doing something a little different, outside of the box, yet in some way related and inspired by what I am currently doing.

The idea of jewelry to me has always been fascinating since I consider the floral work that I have done to be jewelry for the wedding table top. To fuse the world of hip jewelry with my design flair is exciting and I can hardly wait to create a showstopper for Alex and Ani this December 17th. You can see in my design that I am inspired by their designs and look forward to creating a magical evening.

Next week I head down to their corporate offices to discuss other potential projects.......you know my head is spinning, where will this little twist lead CMP to?

Chad Michael Peters & Alex and Ani

I have loved my friend Melissa, the now creative director of Alex and Ani, ever since we had our first meeting to discuss the planning of her wedding at a coffee shop in downtown providence. So many years and laughs have passed that it is hard to keep track. With her phone call today, it was clear that this holiday season I had to show off my fresh flower designs with the incredibly hip designs of Alex and Ani at their new Newport, Rhode Island Boutique.

"The Alex and Ani aesthetic underscores the idea that what is pure and natural is most beautiful and creating jewelry from recycled materials enriches the beauty of each piece.  Founder and creative designer, Carolyn Rafaelian embraces a philosophy that is based upon using eco-friendly, recycled materials made entirely in the United States.  Carolyn believes that by creating designs that support the environment and encourage social consciousness, consumers can use their purchases to make a difference in protecting our planet and our future.  Every design is created to reflect the inner beauty of all who wear an Alex and Ani piece".

I am sketching away with the gorgeous jewelry in mind and of course, can't wait to share with you both the holiday look for the store and this exciting evening. Not only will you get to see the new boutique, my flowers but there will be lots of specials and sales just in time for your holiday shopping........one last hint at a surprise, could this be the night that my first signature product is unveiled ? What do you think, chad michael peters for Alex and Ani?.....stay tuned, this could be big.

Please come and have a drink and meet me personally, of course I will be there with bells on. Alex and Ani is located at One Bowen's Wharf in historic Newport, Rhode Island. You can RSVP to the event by clicking here. I will be sure to post more as the details unravel.
