Liberty Hotel Wedding Floral Display in bright fall colors and white and cream

It was a really busy weekend. Not only did we have Rachel and Omar's wedding at the Biltmore hotel, we also had a splendid display of flowers to produce, install and deliver to Arlington and to the Liberty Hotel in Boston. No small feat, especially in the traffic of Boston late in the afternoon. We did it though. The family was so appreciative of the design of the flowers and the way that we put them on display at the church prior to moving them to the ballroom of the hotel. The last time I was in there with all white flowers was the wedding of my dear Carissa. It brought back memories certainly. I used lillies as part of the base to the arrangements. I love the way that they smell. Everyone that works for me hates them. But when their name is on the header, they can pick.

The white flowers were a fresh surprise from the bold and rich colors of the flowers that the bride and I chose for both the bridesmaids and the cocktail portion of the party. Guests were greeted by a most magnificent display of fall flowers trimmed in the rare night blooming jasmine. The bubble stand in mercury was absolutely perfect to give height and prescene to the display. We finished and I had time to see the bride while she got a bit to eat and talk about the details of her day. She, along with her whole family was just too sweet. They asked me to stay for dinner which I thought was really nice, but I knew that it was time for me to shift gears for the next creative event on our busy docket.

Congratulations Amy, you were so lovely carrying your bouquet of English garden roses and gardenia.
