Carissa & Andrew | Liberty Hotel Weddings | Time Lapse Videography

Taking on the challenge of hosting a wedding ceremony in one room and then using that same room to host the wedding reception is no small task. At the grand wedding of Carissa and her husband Andrew, hosted at the Liberty Hotel in Boston, there were literally hundreds and hundreds of details that needed to be done in order to fully execute this colorful design that Carissa's mom Corine and I had worked on for close to two years. Of course we both answered to the bride, making sure that our work was approved by her and reflected her funky, cool and retro style.

I have to say, I had a plan with a very long check list and I had both my own personal army and the fabulous army of well seasoned five star servers and staff from The Liberty Hotel to accomplish this task. Even still, to orchestrate the turn is a feat that drained all but the last of my creative energy for this event. It was the BIG moment and I had said to my clients and friends that they could count on me, that we would bring it around home to perfection.

I am glad that the video is so fast you really can't tell who is who, but you know that there is a storm of people brewin in that room filled with pretty. There was a moment in all of the craziness when I knew that it was time for me to step into the spot light and to take control. The captain if you will, ready to guide his ship into home port. With my booming voice, I gave orders like a drill sergeant, and let me tell you, the 65 plus staff people in that room  snapped to perfection. I could not have done it without the BRILLIANT staff at The Liberty Hotel. Muah, Muah, I love you guys and can't wait to party with you again!

There was the magical moment of perfection. The room still, soft music playing, lush flowers glowing in the amber spot lighting. I took a breath and looked around and pinched myself to be in that moment. AND we did it on time, with out a minute to spare. I straightened my tie, took a breath and walked out the door to meet my bride and groom and their families.
